West Side Poetry Workshop

I founded the West Side Poetry Workshop in 2015 as a way to let poetry enthusiasts discuss their work in a constructive environment. At its inception, we were the first poetry workshop on the west side of Cleveland. The Cuyahoga County Public Library has helped host and promote our efforts, and I am very grateful for their continued support of our work.

In 2017, our group began hosting an annual public reading and publishing an annual anthology to represent the efforts of our groups' members from that year.

Right now the workshop is wholly online. If you wish to join our workshop, please visit the CCPL website and register for one of our upcoming events. You do not have to bring a poem to read. It is fine if you wish to simply observe or offer feedback.

Our workshop is held on the fourth Thursday of every month — except November and December — from 6:30 - 8:30 PM. Our workshops for 2021 will be held on the following days:

 - January 28th

 - February 25th

 - March 25th

 - April 22nd

 - May 27th

 - June 24th

 - July 22nd

 - August 26th

 - September 23rd

 - October 28th

 - December 2nd
